About Cindi

Line Dance Instructor Cindi Massengale enjoys helping others through positive motivation and encouragement, and is passionate about helping beginners get started. She feels the best part of her job is to see someone that is new to dancing get “hooked” into the Country-Western dance scene. Cindi also teaches Country Western partner dancing, including Two-step, Cowboy Cha Cha and many others. 

Cindi is a fun, out-going instructor, with a playful attitude, often encouraging dancers to echo her motto “Fake It ‘til You Make It”!

As a country music enthusiast, you can find Cindi teaching line dancing at the Gaslamp Bar in Long Beach on Thursday nights, and  Cowboy Country in Long Beach on Friday nights. For new and advanced dancers, Cindi offers instructional Classes on Monday nights at the Cowoby Country teaching classic line dance dances and all the latest hot dances in Southern California.

Additionally, Cindi can be found at SeaSalt’s Country Sundays at Huntington Beach as the DJ/Dance Instructor, as well as at many special events and private parties throughout Southern California. Her past major events include The Shipkicker Country Music Festival at the Queen Mary, Coastal Country Jam, Boots In the Park, Round Up at LA Live, The Edge Dance Event, Stagecoach, Country Campout Weekend & Music Festival, Wrangler Weekend LA (WWLA), and the Commerce Casino Go Country Fest. 

Cindi ’s love for music and dancing has transitioned into a fulfilling career; she has been teaching Group Fitness classes and Personal Training for over 30 years, and teaching line dance for 13 years at Cowboy Country. Cindi holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

Cindi has been the StageCoach Music Festival liaison for Cowboy Country the past 5 years, including judging the dance competition held at Cowboy Country. She has also been a judge for Line Dance competitions at The Edge & WWLA.
